The journal ‘Roczniki Państwowego Zakładu Higieny’  [Annals of the National Institute of Hygiene] (Rocz Panstw Zakl Hig)  was established in 1950 by the National Institute of Hygiene (current name:  National Institute of Public Health – National Institute of Hygiene).

The journal is a peer-reviewed quarterly devoted  to research studies on the food  and water safety, nutrition, environmental hygiene, toxicology and risk assessment, public health and related areas. It creates a common platform enabling exchange of views and ideas between scientists involved in this area.

The journal publishes original research papers, critical reviews, short communications, letters to the editor and book reviews.
